- DON’T: Alcohol, coffee, fish oil, vitamin E, aspirin, and ibuprofen cause the blood to be thin, resulting in increased bleeding during the surgery.
What are some do’s and don’ts after going for a lip blush?
- Do: Use a lot of lip balm to maintain your lips moist. Then, schedule a follow-up with your permanent makeup artist.
- Don’t: Pick at your sores. Never! Also, avoid sun exposure and exercise for approximately two weeks. Finally, do not consume spicy foods within 48 hours of the session.
Is lip blush suitable for individuals with sensitive skin or allergies?
Most customers with skin sensitivities or allergies are modest and eligible for tattooing, resulting in just light skin redness that disappears within an hour or two after treatment. Always inform the technician of any severe allergies to numbing medications such as Lidocaine, Tetracaine, latex, or cosmetics before your visit.
In addition, it is advisable for any customers with a history of cold sores to take an over-the-counter preventive pill on the day of their consultation to prevent an outbreak.
